Latest Arsenal FIFA 21 Update: Seven Players Downgraded

The latest FIFA 21 player database update is out and Arsenal stars have seen mixed results with some of the veteran players suffering setbacks while the young guns continue to progress.

That has been the story on the pitch under Mikel Arteta with a number of young stars, including Bukayo Saka, Emile Smith-Rowe and Gabriel Martinelli impressing after a disappointing start to the season.

That disappointing start was a collective effort, but poor displays from the likes of Willian and Nicolas Pepe could not be ignored, despite a recent resurgence, and that is reflected in the latest update with both players suffering downgrades.

Dropped by one from 85 to 84

Hector Bellerin – Downgrade

Lost ground on sprint speed, acceleration and potential, which all decreased by one

Gabriel Magalhaes – Upgrade

Dribbling increased from 49 to 52

Kieran Tierney – Position change

Position tweaked to reflect his most common position under Arteta

Willian – Downgrade

Overall rating drops from 81 to 80

Nicolas Pepe – Downgrade

Down from 81 to 80 on overall rating, and lost ground on a host of attributes

Dani Ceballos – Upgrade

Free-kick rating rose from 63 to 67

Cedric Soares – Downgrade

Fell by 10 from 68 to 58

Gabriel Martinelli – Weight increase

Weight increase of around 13 pounds

Shkodran Mustafi – Downgrade

Dropped from 80 to 79 with current overall rating at 78

Sokratis – Downgrade

Overall rating dropped from 78 to 77

Folarin Balogun – Upgrade

Up to 62 overall rating from 60

FIFA 21 is out now on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC, with FIFA 21 next gen also now available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S.

Additionally, fans who jump into FIFA 21 can also benefit from Dual Entitlement, enabling them to upgrade their copy of the game from PlayStation 4 to PlayStation 5, or Xbox One to Xbox Series X/S at no extra cost.
