Brandon Williams is unlikely to leave Man United in January even though Southampton considered him a priority option for a loan deal, as per The Telegraph.
The 20-year-old seems to have slipped down the pecking order at Old Trafford after the arrival of Alex Telles.
However, he started the FA Cup clash with Watford as a right-back which indicates that he's seen as a credible back-up for Aaron Wan-Bissaka.
Given the lack of other options at right-back, it seems logical for Willams to stick around as Ole Gunnar Solskjaer appears to hint at more game time for the academy graduate.
Timothy Fosu-Mensah's departure is another factor that complicates an exit for Williams - even though the boss did not rule out a loan for him before the start of the transfer window.
