Oshoala Dedicates Goals To Late Step Mother

Current African female player of the year Asisat Oshoala was in her super scoring form as FC Barcelona outclass Rayo Vallecano at the Estadi Johan Cryuff on Wednesday evening.

The Nigerian striker who grew up in Lagos found the back of the net in the 15th and 59th minute respectively to help her side into a comprehensive victory at home.

These past few days have been quite sober for Asisat Oshoala who lost her stepmother some days ago but went about the normal business as a professional player.

“With sadness and a heavy heart but total submission to the will of almighty Allah, continue to Rest In Peace Mama”

Barcelona and Primera Iberdrola honoured the Oshoala family with a minute of silence before the game between Barcelona Femení and Rayo Vallecano, to commemorate Asisat Oshoala late Step-mom.

The 26year old scored a brace in Barcelona’s big win and dedicated her goals to her Step-mom by displaying her inner shirt during both half.
