Pochettino Gives His Honest Opinion On Dele Alli And Messi Transfer Links To PSG

Pochettino On Dele Alli And Messi Transfer

Mauricio Pochettino was officially presented as PSG manager on Tuesday and was quickly asked about the possibility of transfers in the near future.

There has been speculation the former Tottenham boss could bid to bring his former player Alli to Parc des Princes, with the 24-year-old seemingly disillusioned with life under Jose Mourinho at Spurs.

There have also been rumours that Pochettino’s compatriot Lionel Messi may be tempted with a move to France, with his Barcelona contract expiring at the end of the season.

Responding to questions about the players, Pochettino did not give much away – but appeared to leave the door open for a potential double transfer swoop.

“We are not talking about [possible signings] but about adapting ourselves to the club, and we have a game tomorrow,” he said.

“But I already said that in the future there will be time to talk about those things. A great player is always welcome at PSG.”

Meanwhile Pochettino is clearly highly excited to work with the group of players he already has, and heaped praise upon Kylian Mbappe in particular.
