Rafael Benitez Leaves Chinese Side Dalian Professional

Former Liverpool Boss Benitez has left his job at Danilo Pro.

The Spaniard is cutting short his time with the Chinese Super League club due to fears over the ongoing impact of COVID.

Benitez, whose family home is in the north-west of England, had growing concerns about potentially leaving his family for an extended period of time had the virus resurfaced in the Far East.

And so the former Real Madrid and Liverpool chief has taken the decision not to return ahead of the start of their new season in two months’ time.

He has told his current employers of the situation and talks over a severance package are on-going.
