Real Madrid Target Signing Of Nigerian Mildfielder

Spanish giants, Real Madrid, have been linked with a move for Leicester City midfielder, Wilfred Ndidi.

Based on the Spanish transfer new site Fichajes.com., Los Blancos are looking to strengthen their holding midfield position this summer and the Nigerian has been tipped as the best option to boost the Zinedine Zidane team.

Brazilian Casemiro, who has been a pillar over the past couple of years, is in danger of being replaced, according to the report, with Real Madrid boss hoping to strengthen his midfield by all means.

Madrid search for a holding midfielder has led them to two players, in particular, with City’s Ndidi as well as Rennes star Eduardo Camavinga being considered.

Ndidi, who has been pivotal to City’s success so far this season, is said to be Zidane’s favourite option.

But he is tied down at the King Power Stadium until 2024 having only penned a new contract in 2018.
