Super Eagles Midfielder John Ogu’s Mother Dies
Super Eagles midfielder John Ogu’s mum has passed away.
The sad news has been confirmed by the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) on their verified Twitter handles on Monday.
As at now, the cause of the death of Ogu’s mother has not been made known.
The NFF wrote: “Our thoughts and prayers are with @NGSuperEagles midfielder @ogujohnugo following the passing of his Mom. May her gentle soul rest In peace.”
Meanwhile, Ogu described his mum’s death as the worse day of his life accompanying the text with love emojis.

Ogu was a member of the Super Eagles squad that featured at the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia.
He was also part of the team that finished third at the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations in Egypt.
