Two Premier League Clubs Fight Liverpool For £35m-Rated Star

Two Premier League Clubs Fight Liverpool

If Liverpool must land Wolves star Adama Traore they will need to fend off interest from Premier League rivals Manchester City and Leeds United, claims Spanish outlet Sport.

The 24-year-old is keen on a move away from Wolves after a frustrating first half of the season which has seen him regularly benched by manager Nuno Espirito Santo.

Liverpool have been linked with the Spain winger for much of the past year and he is rated at £35million.

The Reds were reportedly tracking the 24-year-old last season before Wolves slapped a huge price tag, said to be in excess of £130million, on their star man.

However, as a result of his subdued performances this season, the west Midlands club are now willing to accept a cut-price fee of around £35m.

Traore is contracted to Wolves until the summer of 2023.

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp revealed his admiration for the winger in January last year after Roberto Firmino’s late goal secured a narrow victory over a spirited Wolves side at Molineux.
