Toure is interested in becoming a manager

Ivory Coast legend, Yaya Toure, dives into coaching for the first time.

Ex-Man City Player is set to join the coaching staff at Ukrainian side Olympic Donetsk.

Toure is interested in becoming a manager in the next few years.

Profutbol Digital reported that the 37-year-old is returning to Ukraine, where he played for Metalurh Donetsk between 2003 and 2005.

Toure’s rep Dimitry Seluk is quoted by The Sun as saying: “He will become a member of Olympic Donetsk’s coaching staff.

“Yaya Toure used to play for Metalurh. This club does not exist anymore, but there is FC Olympic.

“Therefore, it is symbolic that he will start his coaching career with this club. Toure is not applying for the position of head coach.

“Yaya is just studying. He has a license, but he still needs to study in order to improve his skills, and he will go to Kiev in order to study.”
