Barcelona presidential candidate Font reveals his plans for both Koeman and Xavi

Font says that Koeman will continue as coach if he wins. Previously, the presidential candidate revealed that he wants to appoint Xavi as general manager.

"To think that Ronald Koeman will be able to manage everything, on his own, is impossible. We need club leadership. Ronald Koeman will continue to be the coach of Barcelona," Victor Font has told Radiogaceta.

The presidential candidate perhaps means that Xavi would be able to help Koeman. Font has revealed that he plans to appoint the legendary Blaugrana midfielder as general manager if he wins the elections.

The 41-year-old would be responsible for planning the football area at Barcelona, including the first team. He would be the one to ultimately decide what players the club should sell or buy.
