'I've never had any doubts about him': Koeman on Griezmann recent performance

Ronald Koeman recalls his first call to Antoine Griezmann, he told the Frenchman that the player should 'feel important' at Barca.

Koeman notes that Griezmann is very committed.

"I remember the call I made to him [Griezmann] when I signed for Barca. I told him that I had a lot of confidence in him, and I told him by phone that he should feel important. It's true that at first, he was not as effective as now, but I have never had doubts about him," Ronald Koeman has told the media.

"Griezmann is a player who does a lot of self-analysis and works a lot, you can't ask for more from a player who's so committed to the team," the Dutchman added.

Antoine Griezmann has finally started to look confident in front of goal. The Frenchman has bagged 7 goals and 6 assists in Barca's last 8 games in all competitions.
