Luis Garcia believes Koeman is doing a fantastic job, need should be given time

The ex-Barca midfielder has hailed Koeman for adapting new players and new system.

Garcia has also been impressed by the progress of Dembele and Pedri under the Dutchman.

“I think Ronald Koeman is doing a fantastic job and trying to adapt new players and the system, we need to give him time,” former Barcelona midfielder Luis Garcia said in an interview with Goal.

“We have seen some very good games in the past few weeks, with a fantastic Dembele and Pedri, who has been an amazing signing.”

Ronald Koeman's side are now third in La Liga table, eight points behind league leaders Atletico Madrid who have a game in hand.

The Catalans lost the first leg of the Spanish Cup semi-final 2-0 to Sevilla earlier this week and will try to bounce back in the return encounter at Camp Nou in March.

Barca will also host Paris Saint-Germain in the first leg of the Champions League last-16 round on Tuesday, February 16.
