Solskjaer Speaks On De Gea Criticism After Everton Draw

De Gea Criticism Everton Draw

Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has admitted there’s no issue with David De Gea after Red Devils’ 3-3 draw with Everton on Saturday night.

The Spain international came under heavy criticism after conceding three times at Old Trafford.

But, amid calls for Dean Henderson to come in, the Norwegian hinted he doesn’t see the veteran as the person to blame after the result.

On social media after the game, many fans vented their fury at De Gea.

But United boss has hinted he’s got no issue with the Spain international, saying: “I wouldn’t blame anyone on the goals.

“But we know we could have done better to defend all of them.”

Solskjaer also insisted United weren’t ready to win the title yet, adding: “We’re not talking about winning titles!

“We’ve come a long way with this team and we shouldn’t even be considered as title chasers so that’s one for you.

“We’ve got to be better as a team and then see where we end up.

“Going forward we were very good but we need to stop conceding easy goals.”
