Arsenal To Replace Hector Bellerin With Inter Milan’s Achraf Hakimi

Arsenal are set to make Inter Milan a ‘concrete offer’ for right back Achraf Hakimi, according to reports.

Mikel Arteta is keen to sign a new right-sided defender amid reports that Hector Bellerin’s future at the club is up in the air.

Spanish news outlet AS claim the Gunners are ready to make a move for the 22-year-old.

The Serie A leaders have slapped a £43million (€50m) price tag on the Morocco international.

However, there is financial uncertainty surrounding Inter and Hakimi could be offloaded to bring money into the club.

The report goes on to suggest that the San Siro giants need to sell players in order to raise funds but are reluctant to part with star man Romelu Lukaku.

This could see Arsenal take advantage of the opportunity should Bellerin leave. Arsenal’s London rivals Chelsea are also interested in the Morocco international.  

Bellerin has been linked with a move away from the Emirates with Paris Saint-Germain and Barcelona mentioned as possible landing spots.
