Barcelona rank first in Forbes 20 most valuable clubs for the first time: Real Madrid comes second

Barcelona have leapfrogged Real Madrid and are now the world's most valuable football club, according to the reputable US magazine Forbes.

This is the first time Barca are reaching the summit of the Forbes list having trailed bitter rivals Real Madrid for quite some time.

Barca overtook Madrid in the latest ranking by $100,000.

The Blaugrana is valued at an astronomical $4.76 billion while Madrid comes in with a valuation of $4.75 billion.
