FIGC to exclude teams that say no to the UEFA and FIFA

The FIGC reportedly plans the introduction of provisions to exclude registration in Serie A for teams that reject the competitions from UEFA and FIFA.

At the moment the Federal Council is underway in Rome and discussions have started to introduce provision in the statute that allows registration in Serie A only for the teams that accept the competitions that are under the competence of the UEFA and FIFA.

The reference is clearly designed to prevent a similar situation to that of last week, when Juventus, Inter and Milan joined the Super League as three of the 12 founding clubs.

Tuttomercatoweb reports this is the precautionary measure decided by the FIGC that is being created in these hours, a document that will strengthen the relations between Serie A and the international federations.
