Manchester United promote young defender Will Fish to first-team training ahead of Granada clash

The young centre-back has been a regular for United’s U23s side this season.

The Red Devils will miss Maguire, Shaw and possibly Bailly for this one – so Fish could be added to the matchday squad.

Man United called upon young defender Will Fish to first-team training ahead of their Europa League clash against Granada.

The 18-year-old centre-back has been a regular for United’s U23s side this season, making 17 appearances and putting in some very impressive performances.

Fish has been called upon due to United’s shortage of numbers in defence for that game with Harry Maguire & Luke Shaw both suspended.

Eric Bailly is expected to be available for the game against Granada, while Axel Tuanzebe is also another option.

However, Fish can be registered into the squad because of his age if Ole Gunnar Solskjaer deems it necessary to keep him on the bench for the game.
