Semi Ajayi Relegated With West Brom From Premier League

Super Eagles defender Semi Ajayi features for West Bromwich Albion in their 3-1 defeat to Arsenal at the Emirates on Sunday.

And the 27-year-old played the entire duration of the match, on a day the Baggies got relegated back to the championship, according to Brila.

The Gunners took the lead when the excellent Bukayo Saka combined with Willian to set up Emile Smith Rowe who volleyed home in the 29th minute.

Arsenal doubled their advantage six minutes later when Nicolas Pepe cut inside from the right flank and curled a stunning effort beyond the outstretched Sam Johnstone.

The result mean West Brom have suffered their fifth relegation from the Premier League, the joint-most by a team alongside Norwich City.
