With Kurt Zouma on his way out of the club, Chelsea have reportedly put a deal for Jules Kounde into motion.
The Sevilla centre-back has been linked with the Blues all window, and now according to the reliable Fabrizio Romano, Chelsea are ready to bid for him.
An official €50m bid is being reported but the Spanish club apparently want more for the young defender.
The situation has been described as 'tense' but talks are going on through intermediaries as Chelsea try to make a deal happen.
One of the positives is supposedly Kounde himself, who is pushing to make the move happen.
