Barcelona legend Iniesta in seventh highest-earning footballer in the world

Andres Iniesta is an icon of Spanish football, having spurred the national team to World Cup glory as well as help Barcelona to multiple LaLiga Santander titles and Champions Leagues.

Forbes magazine estimates Iniesta's fortune at almost 30 million euros, which puts him in seventh position on the list of the highest paid footballers in the world, and the only Spaniard in the top 10.

His arrival at Vissel Kobe has made this possible. Iniesta has recently signed a contract extension for two more years on a whopping 25.5 million euros per year.

That makes up 90 percent of his income while the remaining 10 percent comes from his sponsorships with brands such as Asics and Nissan, as well as other ventures.
