Koeman discuss how Pedri survived under his strict management

"Pedri is a clever player," Ronald Koeman said in his interview with Barca TV.

"He is a young player who listens and works hard, and a great future awaits him.

"Mentally, he is very tough because if he was not, then he would not have survived this very demanding last 12 months," Koeman added.

Pedri was the player who made the most appearances under Koeman amassing 52 appearances last term. 

The 18-year-old midfielder was given a break from the team in mid-August but is now due to return for the clash against Bayern Munich slated for September.
