Liverpool players Rating in Leeds win with Fabinho 9 and Salah 8

Fabinho - 9

The Brazilian midfielder got himself on the scoresheet with a poacher's finish in the box. Outside of that, he was immense once again, stopping Leeds time and time again while frustrating them entirely. Best in the world when he's in this mood.

Thiago - 8.5

When this duo plays together, it seemingly just clicks for Liverpool. Thiago had arguably his best game in the Red shirt, keeping the ball ticking brilliantly and ensuring the team got chance after chance, which eventually led to the win.

Mo Salah - 8

Salah was the pick of the bunch when it came to attacking, looking as lively as ever. Got his 100th goal and also created multiple opportunities time after time for his teammates, who squandered quite a few of them.

Harvey Elliott - 7

Harvey Elliott suffered what looked like a devastating injury for the young Englishman. The situation was so bad, a lot of broadcasters chose not to show it but he had been showing how good he is before then. Thoughts to him and hopefully, the 18-year-old recovers soon.

Sadio Mane - 5

Mane gets a 5 despite his goal at the end because of the sheer number of opportunities he wasted, especially in the second half. He clearly went off his head a bit and needs to relax a bit perhaps. The goal could help unlock and get rid of whatever's been making him play poorly.

Virgil van Dijk - 7.5

Once again imperious at the back, VVD never looked to be in any trouble at any point. There was an example where a ball was played in behind him where he just dealt with it by simply lengthening his stride. Says everything you need to know.

The rest: Alisson - 7, Robertson - 6, Matip - 7, Trent - 7.5, Jota - 6.5, Henderson - 7, Oclade-Chamberlain - 6.5, Keita - n/a
