Cristiano Ronaldo’s no.7 shirt at Man United is an extremely popular one among fans and has generated incredible revenue since being announced.

According to shirt sales finances guru Lovethesales, the Ronaldo 7 shirt made an incredible £32.5m within 12 hours after it was announced by the club.

United reportedly registered ‘the highest day of online sales ever on a single sports merchandise website’ outside of North America because of the shirt sales.

Fans were spotted queuing up in huge numbers outside Old Trafford in the days following the announcement that Ronaldo would reclaim the club’s no.7 shirt.

Cristiano is expected to don the shirt and make his second debut for the Red Devils against Newcastle United on Saturday.
