We know what needs to be done: Laporta's message to fans on Barca current situation

"Hello, culers. I ask you to keep supporting our team. The team needs you and is thankful to you. You know we are living difficult moments and these are the moments you need to stand by us," Joan Laporta says in a video on Twitter.

"This week, a Barca delegation is going to 'Palos de la Frontera' to an act of 'Penyes' [editor's note: supporters' clubs], which coincides with the match in Cadiz.

"In Cadiz, you can be sure that the team will try to win. I don't know what will happen, but no matter what, in the next match against Levante this week, keep supporting our team. The team needs it.

"And try to remain calm. We know what needs to be done and we will solve it. Thank you very much and Visca el Barca."

Rumour has is that Laporta has decided to sack Ronald Koeman after going displeased with Barcelona's recent performances. However, the current coach will not be officially dismissed until a replacement is found.

The president putting so much emphasis on the game against Levante may be an indication that he aims to solve the situation before the home clash against the Frogs.
