Jorge Mendes was in Barcelona yesterday over Ansu Fati contract renewal. But he didn't meet with Matteu Alemany or any representatives from the club.
Mendes headed straight to see Fati's family where he was told by the forward he wants "only Barca," according to Mundo Deportivo.
Given that Mendes didn't meet with Barca bigwigs on Thursday, talks about Fati's next Barca deal stalled once again.
The teenager's contract expires in the summer of 2022, which means Barca are already in a race against time to renew it.
The club wants to peg a €1 billion release clause on Fati's new deal. However, Mendes may also be pushing for a bigger salary for his client.
