The Switzerland defensive midfielder has been on the books of English side Arsenal who are keen on adding the Swiss man to their squad. .
According to SportBILD, Arsenal will attempt to sign Zakaria in January, as he is out of contract in the summer.
His club may be tempted to part with him for a cut price fee, or risk losing him on a free transfer when the season concludes.
If Arsenal cannot strike a deal with Bladbach in January, they will offer Zakaria a pre-contract with a view to a summer transfer.
