As quoted by Movistar, vice president of Barcelona Rafa Yuste said: "The technical secretary is working on several options [to replace Ronald Koeman].
"Xavi is one of them, but not the only one."
The club legend is believed to be the most likely candidate to become the new Barcelona manager.
Xavi is reportedly waiting for Al-Saad to terminate his contract but it remains to be seen if he gets the job.
