Brazilian side Fluminense starts negotiations with Chelsea defender Thiago Silva in a bid to bring him back to Brazil.
The 37 years old defender has previously spoken about his desire to return to the club in the later in his career.
The centre-back, whose contract with Chelsea expires in the summer, is not certain to remain in England beyond this season.
According to Tuttomercatoweb, Fluminense have already opened talks with Silva and his representatives, with the hope of concluding a free transfer deal that would see him go back to Brazil for next season.
The veteran played 80 games in all competitions for the club in the first part of his career, before moving to AC Milan.
