Inter still has a place in Lukaku's heart - Agent

After moving to Chelsea, Romelu Lukaku's agent promises that the striker 'had Inter in his heart, but a professional has to assess other elements beyond the emotive.'

Fans of the Nerazzurri chastised the Belgium international for claiming he was "already at home" at San Siro just weeks before demanding a move to Stamford Bridge.

On Calciomercato.com, agent Federico Pastorello stated, "He has Inter in his heart."

"People can say anything they want, but the fact remains. A professional must then consider other factors other from the sentimental, such as what is best for his career.

He's happy in London, focused on the new endeavor, but he still cares deeply about Inter and their games."

Pastorello was also questioned about allegations that Chelsea had begun talks with the club before the UEFA EURO 2020 competition.

There was a lot of talking going on. The transfer itself was rather quick; once they made the decision to go for it, they went all out. It didn't seem to last very long."

Chelsea eventually completed the move for €115 million, a record price for a Serie A team, and the Scudetto victory murals were vandalized.

This season, the 28-year-old centre-forward has scored four goals in nine competitive games for Chelsea.

In his 95 games with Inter, he scored 64 goals and added 16 assists.

Lukaku returned to Stamford Bridge after being on the club's books from 2011 to 2014, albeit the most of that time was spent on loan at West Bromwich Albion.
