Koeman Once again Play down Barcelona chance of winning the Champions League

"Can we compete for the Champions League? Compete, yes. But we cannot be required to win the Champions League," Ronald Koeman said in his press conference ahead of the Dynamo Kiev game.

"Recovering the injured players will help us. Those who have reappeared are not yet at their highest level, but they are on the right track."

Once again, Koeman plays down the veracity of his team to challenge for Europe's biggest competition this season.

The Blaugrana are precariously positioned at the bottom of their Champions League group after losing their first two games 3-0.

Another defeat would put Barca's hopes of qualifying for the next stage in serious jeopardy - which would, in turn, have catastrophic economic consequences for Barca.
