Napoli fans have made a strong statement of support towards their centre-back Kalidou Koulibaly by placing banners close to the Diego Armando Maradona Stadium.
"We Neapolitans are all Africans," the banners read both in Italian and in English. The '#FightRacism' caption at the bottom shows that it is indeed an anti-racist message.
Before the international break, the Senegalese centre-back was allegedly racially abused by Fiorentina fans who were reported to call him a 'f**king monkey'.
The Italian Football Federation has opened the investigation. No results have been reported yet.
