'Nobody promised he'd play every single minute': Tuchel reacts to Werner playing time concerns

Tuchel bats away Werner playing time concerns

“Why should I speak with Timo or any player about expectations? It would be endless,” Thomas Tuchel told a press conference.

“He needs to focus and nobody, I’m pretty sure, promised he plays every single minute no matter what.

“He is a healthy, young guy who has the best job in the world in one of the best clubs in the world.

“There is no reason to be frustrated but there are a hundred reasons to be happy. Be spot on in training and fight for your place, that’s the situation for everybody.”

According to credible reports, Timo Werner might reassess his future at Chelsea if he can't force his way back into the starting line-up.

Despite claims that he could well play alongside Romelu Lukaku, he appears to be the player who has lost the most from the Belgian's arrival. So far, he only started four games for the Blues and scored just one goal in the Carabao Cup
