The referee for Chelsea vs Brentford clash Revealed- Blues haven't won last 5 games he officiated

The Premier League have confirmed Anthony Taylor will be the referee for Chelsea's trip to face Brentford on Saturday.

Interestingly, the Blues have endured a recent run of bad results when Taylor had officiated.

Here's what Chelsea's last five results have looked like, with Taylor enforcing the rules:

vs Manchester United (H) - Premier League - Chelsea lost 2-0.

vs Arsenal (A) - FA Cup final - Chelsea lost 2-1.

vs Manchester City (H) - Premier League - Chelsea lost 3-1.

vs Southampton (A) - Premier League - Chelsea draw 1-1.

vs Liverpool (A) - Premier League - Chelsea draw 1-1.

Over 80,000 Chelsea fans signed a petition to stop Taylor from refereeing Chelsea games after the 1-1 draw at Liverpool where he gave Reece James a red card and handed the Reds a penalty, according to Don Robbie on Twitter.

Well, the Premier League has made their stance on any fan petition clear.
