Tuchel admits three key players will miss Newcastle's EPL match against Chelsea.

Mateo Kovacic will miss "a few weeks" after suffering a hamstring injury in training, according to Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel. Kovacic has had an impressive season so far, scoring once and providing five assists in nine Premier League appearances.

The 27-year-old midfielder has started eight of the games so far, but he may potentially be ruled out until after the November international break.

Tuchel has already been without forwards Romelu Lukaku and Timo Werner due to injury.

On Thursday, we received some very tragic news. In the final minute of practice, he hurt himself.

“He tore his hamstring and will be gone for a few weeks. He'll most likely be out for the next week. Tuchel told reporters before of Chelsea's trip to Newcastle on Saturday, "Hopefully, he will be back after the international break."

"Timo and Romelu are still out due to their injuries," Tuchel said when asked about Lukaku and Werner's injuries, as well as Christian Pulisic's likely return.

"Christian Pulisic attended the past two training sessions, but given the time he missed, it's still early.

"Everyone else is available," says the narrator. Azpi (Cesar Azpilicueta), Ruben (Loftus-Cheek), and N'Golo (Kante) were all back on the pitch and will be with the club tomorrow.
