Ac Milan Begins Contract Negotiation With Romagnoli Without His Agent Mino Raiola

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Milan are negotiating Alessio Romagnoli’s contract extension without talking to his agent Mino Raiola as their relationship after Gigio Donnarumma’s exit is still tense.

The Rossoneri captain sees his contract expire at the end of the season.

Milan can’t confirm his €6m-a-year deal and are trying to reach an agreement over a lower salary.

The Diavoli would offer Romagnoli a new €3.5m-a-year contract, but the player wants at least €4.5m.

Negotiations between the two parties are ongoing and La Gazzetta dello Sport reports that the Serie A giants have not involved Raiola in the negotiations and are talking to their captain alone.

However, Raiola took part in a meeting in September to discuss the terms of Romagnoli’s extension.

The relationship between the agent and the Serie A giants is still tense after Gigio Donnarumma’s exit over the summer.

The 22-year-old didn’t extend his contract with Milan and joined PSG on a free transfer after the Euros.

According to the report, Romagnoli is willing to stay at Milan and his agreement with Raiola, just like the one with Milan, expires at the end of the season.
