“I have thought about putting him on, but through strategy, I put in a winger," Carlo Ancelotti said of Eden Hazard in his post-match press conference.
“Hazard is better through the inside.”
“Hazard is ready to play," Ancelotti continued. "It could have been today or it could be Saturday.
“It’s true that he needs minutes to be at his best condition."
Hazard has slipped further in Ancelotti's pecking order in attack. He's started just 5 games in his 10 appearances this season, and is yet to play up to 80 minutes in a single game.
