Former Tottenham boss AVB said at Lisbon's Web Summit: "He was successful at Chelsea and Inter and can do a good job. He has motivation to achieve the objectives.
"He is suitable for the job.
"Everyone has their ups and downs, but Daniel (Levy, the Tottenham chairman) is not an easy person to deal with. I already said it when José (Mourinho) was there and I was in Marseille."
