Araujo's wage demands higher than expected, 3 clubs interested

Barcelona are facing problems trying to extend Ronald Araujo's deal, as per ESPN's Moi Llorens.

Barca's reported plan is to extend Araujo's deal until 2026. The Uruguayan's financial demands, however, are higher than expected.

Liverpool, Chelsea and Manchester United are monitoring the situation. Liverpool have even sent a few club officials to Barcelona to 'get closer' to the player.

Ronald Araujo has been among Blaugrana's star performers this season, showing his solidity at centre-back and scoring one goal in 13 appearances.

The 22-year-old's current deal with Barca expires in July 2023.
