Arsene Wenger names 1 Arsenal player he regretted selling the most

Speaking at the premiere of the "Arsene Wenger: Invincible" documentary, the Frenchman said: "Players wanted to go to where they would win.

"My biggest regret and shame is that Nicolas Anelka left. He could have been special, instead he played for 13 clubs."

Anelka, who scored 23 goals in 65 Premier League games for the Gunners, left Arsenal in 1999 to join La Liga giants Real Madrid.

The Frenchman then played for Paris Saint-Germain, Liverpool, Manchester City, Fenerbahce and Bolton before winning the 2009/10 Premier League title (among other trophies) with Chelsea.
