Alex Collado's lack of football for the last six months will come to an end in January, according to RAC1.
The attacking midfielder has been training with the first team since Xavi's arrival, but he can't play for the club as Barcelona failed to register him this season.
There are a number of clubs interested in taking Collado on loan, across Europe.
Things got so bad for Collado earlier on this season that he considered ending his football career.
