Following tests conducted, Barcelona have now confirmed the former Spain defender has a calf strain and is sidelined until further notice.
"Tests on first-team player Gerard Pique have confirmed a calf strain in his right leg," a statement said. "He's out and his evolution will mark his availability."
Pique, therefore, will definitely miss Tuesday's Champions League game against Dynamo Kyiv and it's more than likely he will not feature again until after the international break
