Barcelona have money to sign Adeyemi in January: Gerard Romero

Barcelona can cough out the funds required to make Karim Adeyemi signing a possibility, according to respected Spanish reporter Gerard Romero.

Adeyemi is valued at €20m, as per Transfermarkt. However, multiple interest in the player has his asking price pegged at €40m.

Barcelona are likely to start negotiations for the German as their priority target in January. This is after a move for Manchester City's Raheem Sterling seem to have fallen through.

The 19-year-old is tearing up Austria with 15 goals in his first 22 games for Salzburg.
