The midfielder is out of contract in 2023 after signing his first professional deal when he turned 16.
His contract was already worth more than his contemporaries at La Masia because his performances had deserved it.
Tot Costa reports the plan is that his new terms will have a clause similar to the one included in Ansu Fati and Pedri's contract extensions, €1 billion, and that he'll sign for five years, until 2026.
The club are aware Gavi wants to succeed at Camp Nou and there will be no problem with that. The club also want to reward him for his stunning breakout season.
