Carragher brutally mocks United on Twitter

"Man Utd might not thank me, but get the contract out, put it on the table and let him sign it, let him write whatever numbers he wants, let him sign the contract," Liverpool icon Jamie Carragher wrote on Twitter in the aftermath of the Villarreal v Man United clash.

"Carrick’s at the wheel man!"

Carra's words refer to United's current caretaker manager Michael Carrick.

The Red Devils defeated Villarreal 2-0 in the Champions League but put in an extremely poor performance and rode their luck to a victory.

Carragher's tweet has gone viral, amassing over 70,000 likes and 11,000 retweets.
