Gattuso Reportedly Aiming To Return To Rangers

According to the Daily Record in Scotland, sources close to Gattuso assure he is eager to make a comeback to Glasgow.

The club is seeking a new manager after Steven Gerrard left in order to take over at Aston Villa.

Gattuso has always expressed great fondness for Rangers, especially as his wife is Scottish, so a move back would be welcomed by his family.

Gennaro Gattuso wants a return to Glasgow Rangers, where he was a player in 1997-98, to be their new coach.

The 43-year-old spent the vast majority of his playing career at Milan from 1999 to 2012, winning every trophy available.

He became a coach with experiences at FC Sion, Palermo, OFI Crete, Pisa, then moved up to the big stage with Milan from November 2017 to May 2019.

Rino was on the Napoli bench from December 2019 to June 2021, then signed for Fiorentina this summer, but terminated the contract by mutual consent two weeks later due to disagreements over transfer strategy.

He has also been linked with the job at Spartak Moscow.
