Klopp shares injury blow as Firmino picked up hamstring injury in Atletico win

"If Bobby Firmino hadn't gone off with a hamstring injury, it would have been much better," Jurgen Klopp told BT Sport after the Atletico Madrid game.

"But it was a good performance. I wouldn't have expected this when I saw the draw.

"For tonight, job done."

Liverpool defeated Atletico 2-0 and won their group.

Firmino was introduced after the break, replacing Sadio Mane. He lasted and had to come off as he picked up a knock.
