Manchester City have slapped a price-tag of about €50m on Ferran Torres, Sport say.
Barcelona and Torres have reached an agreement, but the biggest challenge lies with convincing Man City to part way with the talented striker.
Man City are adamant about loaning the Spaniard to Barca, less than 14 months after paying Valencia €23m for his signature. They prefer to sell him.
Torres wants to join Barca because he feels he'll instantly become Barca's leader in the attack, which means more playing time than he gets at Man City.
It remains to be seen how Barca can afford this player.
