Manchester United are seriously considering signing Frenkie de Jong and are monitoring him closely, according to the Independent (h/t Sport).
Frenkie's name has been on the rumour mill lately, with talk about Barca intending to sell him.
The Red Devils probably see De Jong as a suitable replacement for Paul Pogba, whose contract expires in the coming summer.
While De Jong is highly valued at Barcelona, the club, may be tempted to selling him if an offer anywhere near his €90m market value is placed on the table.
The club may look at players like Pedri, Gavi and Nico, and conclude they have enough reinforcements in central midfield.
