Chelsea Shotstopper Edouard Mendy has after losing the Lev Yashin award to Donaruma said that 2021 has been the best year for him.
Mendy finished behind winner Gigio Donnarumma, after he left AC Milan to PSG.
He said, “2021 was the best football year in my life.
"The season was incredible, we won the biggest title in Europe and it was my first year at a big club.
"This is my best year so far, but I hope the next ones will be the same."
