Paul Pogba is officially out of the France squad after picking up a thigh injury in training on Monday.
According to RMC Sport, a tier-one French source, the 28-year-old is facing '8 to 10 weeks' on the sidelines with a muscle problem.
Should the report turn out to be true, the midfielder will not be able to feature for Manchester United for the rest of the calendar year.
Pogba has been sent back to Manchester so that the Red Devils can run their own tests and officially confirm the extent of the injury.
